I loved this book in ways I can't can't even describe. The characters, the plot, everything was just so amazing! I sat reading chapter after chapter. I had to restrain myself from reading it all in one sitting.

I’ve read over 20 books this month and this one is BY FAR my favorite read of the month. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. What healthful storytelling and this book was so hard to put down. Iris and Roman are beautifully crafted characters. I need the second book right now!!

I went into this book, not knowing what it is about but I love the setting and world building. I love its magical realism and set with two gods fighting each other. The romance, felt a little rushed, but I do love the characters and can't wait for the second book

My only complaint is that I could not score a special edition cover! This was an excellent read from start to finish. I couldn’t put it down. Iris found her tribe and grew so much in a short time. I can’t wait to see what happens in Book 2. Poor Kitt! I need him to be ok.

I saw this book on booktok and I wanted to read it. I saw the reviews, at first I thought the book wasn’t great. But it blew me out if the water. The romance was so good. I wish we saw more talk about god stuff. Over all a good book
