This is the best book I have read in my life. When the essence of the 12 rules for life are understood, they will have a profound and life changing impact on the reader. This is a book for those who are lost and feel worthless. It helps people base themselves, navigate and adapt to the vagaries of life. The reader understands where and why he or she is doing wrong and becomes motivated and determined to transform themselves into confident and optimistic individuals. This happens naturally because this book is able to make a connection with them on a fundamental level and provides practical guidance. It addresses deep rooted issues and helps the reader rid themselves of their mental blocks which prevent them from reaching their potential. Because this book explains our life from a psychological and spiritual point of view, it has a powerful and practical effect on its reader. I will definitely recommend this book to everyone I know because it has transformed my life for the better. This book is a gem from Jordan B. Peterson!

If you are not a native English speaker don't worry your English is not bad. The book is complicated If you are a native English speaker, don't worry your comprehension skills are fine , the book is complicated. To arrive at one point the author basically takes you everywhere except to the point and then once you get to the point you are like , why the hell you tortured me like that man. So anyways the message is good and to get the message I basically got trial of short form and read the summary to understand the book. Got the hardcover version. It was of excellent quality. However dustjacket was displaced, bent and had permanent creases on it due to bad handling. Amazon just put a delicate hardcover book in a paper bag.

What is chaos? According to a book by Peterson himself, "chaos" in the mythological context is the unfathomable and indescribable maternal figure who creates the world. Why is it a feminine silhouette? Because simply the woman is the one who creates humans, they are the ones who become pregnant and well, simply every human who has walked and will walk on this Earth, has been manufactured inside the body of a woman. Now, in ancient times, since these myths were created, people did not know how to explain the phenomenon of pregnancy, that is why the concept of the -inexplicable- or the -unknown- has that feminine silhouette. Chaos is the mother of all gods in Greek mythology, in Egyptian mythology Nut was the total Universe, in the Enûma Elish (the oldest written poem) of Babylon... all cultures have created a female figure to identify the Chaos. Now once you understand that. What do you mean? Simply to create some order in lives. In physics, every system tends to entropy, in Cosmology, the arrow of entropy conditions time in a single direction, in daily life, chaos corresponds to events that emerge without prior notice. People have to outline, to plan life. From getting up to brush their teeth to hanging up the towel after washing their hands, everything is outlined. Chaos is simply when you drop your toothbrush in the toilet or spill your mouthwash, or worse, when you go to the bathroom and realize you're out of toilet paper. Chaos corresponds to the events that alter our planning and that require the immediate implementation of actions to be able to solve or resolve them. The rules that Peterson proposes are not written in stone. They are simply notes that can be considered as attitudes towards life. Each rule is accompanied by psychoanalytic and historical content. There is a lot of talk about politics, anecdotes, and above all, reviews related to how the brain works, both individually and in the masses. In summary, the book is very good, very friendly and easy to read. Take some notes from it. The book is very good, and requires a lot of patience on the part of people to be able to put into practice the recommendations issued by the doctor. At least it has worked for me.
